Joseph L Caughlin
Joseph L. Caughlin (Republican) was born in Oakland, April 16 1880. He received his education in the public and parochial schools and at St. Mary's College. In 1903-05 he was Deputy City Auditor; in 1905-1909 Deputy Superintendent of Streets, and is now Deputy City Treasurer. He was elected Sergeant-at-Arms of the Senate January 1, 1911. Joseph L. Caughlin served as Senate Chief Sergeant-at-Arms from 1911 to 1915.
